1. Scope of permitted use
A certified client may refer to QSI certification only for the legal entity, sites, standard and scope shown on the certificate.
The mark must not be used in a way that misleads buyers, regulators or the public about what has been certified.
2. Prohibited use
The mark must not be applied to products, product packaging, laboratory reports, calibration reports, inspection reports or certificates of analysis in a way that implies product certification or test approval.
The mark must not be altered, combined with another claim, used after suspension or withdrawal, or used for non-certified activities.
3. Review and correction
QSI may request samples of mark use during audits, surveillance or complaint investigation.
Misuse requires prompt correction and may lead to public clarification, suspension, withdrawal or legal action where necessary.
4. Client responsibility
The client is responsible for controlling all certification references in websites, proposals, signage, stationery, social media, brochures and tender documents.
Where there is doubt, clients should request written clarification before publication.
