THE CHAIN OF ACCREDITATION

The body behind the certificate.

A certificate is only as credible as the body behind it. Accreditation is the check on the checker: QSI itself is assessed for competence, impartiality and consistent process. Below are the real references, with numbers and dates, and the certificates behind them so a buyer can read the originals rather than take this page's word.

THE CHECK ON THE CHECKER

How accreditation works.

Nobody in this chain certifies themselves. Each link is assessed by the one above it, and every link on this page carries its real reference number.

INTERNATIONAL ARRANGEMENT

IAF MLA

The international arrangement under which accreditation bodies recognise each other, so an accredited certificate travels across borders.

ACCREDITATION BODIES

IAS · SAAC

The bodies that assess QSI itself for competence, impartiality and consistent process, and publish the exact scopes QSI may certify.

CERTIFICATION BODY

QSI Cert

Audits the management system, reviews the file independently and makes the certification decision under the accredited scopes.

International Accreditation Service

International accreditation for the management-system certification body

IAS accredits QSI CERT CO as a Management System Certification Body against ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015, the international requirements for bodies that audit and certify management systems. IAS is a signatory to the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement, so a QSI certificate carries weight across borders.

PARTNER STANDING

Partner programmes.

Where QSI works under another body's scheme, that is stated plainly. Partnership is not accreditation: the scheme and the mark stay with the scheme owner.

Regional audit partner

NSF

QSI is a regional audit partner conducting audits for NSF. This is partner standing, not an accreditation of QSI: the scheme, the mark and the certification remain with NSF.

Halal certification partner

Halal Research Council

QSI works with the Halal Research Council on halal certification. The scheme and the mark stay with the scheme owner.

BUYER PROTECTION

Why accreditation matters.

A credible certification body is itself assessed for competence, impartiality and consistent process. For a factory manager, that means the certificate is less likely to be challenged during supplier approval, tender review or regulator-facing checks.

Before choosing a certification body, ask what recognition applies to your standard, sector and scope. The safest answer is specific: reference number, standard, scope and status. Every number on this page is built to be quoted back to a buyer or an authority.
