Food and beverage
The QSI specialty. Producers, processors, packers, central kitchens and cold chains audited by people who walk the line, check the CCP records and read the recall drill, because that is where food safety lives.

WHAT WE AUDIT · IND-01
What the audit covers.
Production lines and CCPs
Hazard controls at the points that matter: critical limits, monitoring records and what happens when a limit is breached.
Prerequisite programmes
Hygiene, pest control, maintenance, water and utilities, the base conditions every food claim stands on.
Traceability and recall
Lot identification through the plant and the withdrawal exercise that proves a recall would actually work.
Cold chain and storage
Temperature control, monitoring and the records between the dock, the store and the truck.
Supplier and allergen control

SECTOR QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions.
Common questions from this sector, answered directly.
Do you audit against SFDA expectations?
QSI is SFDA-approved (CB-2024-FO-0011) and food audits in Saudi Arabia are planned with that regulatory context in view. The certificate itself attests the named standard and scope.
HACCP or ISO 22000 first?
Many operations start with HACCP and grow it into ISO 22000. The right order depends on buyer demands and how developed your system already is.
Will auditors enter production areas?
Yes. Food audits that never leave the meeting room are not audits. Expect the line, the stores and the records to be walked.
